Code of EthicsAs a law enforcement officer, my fundamental duty is to serve mankind to safeguard lives and topographic point to protect the impec ejectt against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder and to respect the constitutional rights of all men to liberty, equality and justice. Honest in thought and deed both in my personal and official life, I will be exemplary in obeying the laws of the land and the regulations of my department. Whatever I hear or see of a confidential nature or that is confided to me in my official capacity will be kept ever secret unless revelation is necessary in the performance of my duty. I will never do work officiously or let personal feelings, prejudices, animosities or friendships t o influence my decisions. With no compromise for crime and with relentless prosecution of criminals, I will enforce the law carefully and appropriately without fear or favor, malice or ill will, never employ unnecessary force or violence and never accepting gratuities.I recognize the badge of my office as a symbol of public faith, and I accept it as a public trust to be held so long as I am true to the ethics of the police force service. I will constantly strive to achieve the objectives and ideals, dedicating myself before God to my elect profession-Law Enforcement.Most important elements1.to safe-guard lives and property It is very important that police officers try to protect their citizens to the very best of their ability. Also it is important that the also protect our property and belongings.2.respect the constitutional rights of all men to liberty Our constitutional rights are very important, and it is important to say that if we do not have our rights we might as well not h ave anything. Without these rights no one is equal.3.maintain courageous calm in the face of danger I think that this is very important, police officers must not bring their family problems on the job with them. Doing this will only cause more problems for both his occupation and his family life.4.I will never act officiously or let personal feelings, prejudices, animosities or friendships to influence my decisions This is also very important because letting your personal life interfere with you and your work can only bring problems.
